The girl in the yellow coat returns in Little Nightmares II on February 11, 2021, when Bandai-Namco releases the new sequel. Follow a boy named Mono as he and Six attempt to stop the mysterious signal that is distorting everyone. The gameplay is similar to the first title but has expanded puzzle complexity and a ton of items that Mono can wield. Teamwork is a great added feature that brings more intricacy to the puzzles within the game series.

Play as Mono, a little boy who is sucked into the nightmare world affected by the mysterious transmission. He is joined by Six, the protagonist from Little Nightmares and his only help in escaping the signal tower. Mono can wield bigger items then the Six, such as axes and more. As the adventure continues further into the warped city, he will need her help to solve problems and survive the demented inhabitants.

The enemies get more bizarre in the second installment. The Doctor and his Patients are among a few of the ghastly new monstrosities that await Six and Mono. In the Little Nightmares II Steam Demo that is available now, experience the woods and a taste of the treacherous Hunter. The demo shows the expanded gameplay and how some of the new mechanics are implemented in only a brief playthrough.

The frightening puzzle action gets intense while maintaining a Tim Burton art style in Little Nightmares II. Even the short demo had me sitting at the edge of my seat as the Hunter tracked Mono and Six with his shotgun and lamp through the dark woods. The Load Screen looks forward to playing the full game when it is released on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early February. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will be available later in the year, find out more on the Bandai-Namco Little Nightmares II website.
