Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and More

PlayStation’s recent State of Play featured many games, but The Load Screen team got excited about Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. With so many different versions of the title available, it was hard telling what is in the newest edition, other than Yuffie. The Load Screen covers the latest news on Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, including how it is completely different from the PlayStation Plus free version and the PS5 Enhanced edition.
Intergrade is an expansion for Final Fantasy VII Remake that is only available for the PlayStation 5 on June 10th. For anyone who bought the PS4 Final Fantasy VII Remake, the upgrade to PS5 will not include Intergrade. It can be purchased as a DLC since ownership of the PS5 enhanced FFVII Remake is required to play Intergrade. The PS5 optimized version of Final Fantasy VII Remake in all its ray-traced glory is already available, but if you have a PS4 disk you must have the PS5 with a disk drive. Also, the free PlayStation Plus version is not eligible for the upgrade and must be purchased separately.
The new DLC-style update will add an original episode focused on Yuffie. She was an unlockable character from the original Final Fantasy VII and was a main character for other FFVII sequels. In fact, the outfit she wears in the Intergrade trailer is from her appearance in Dirge of Cerberus. Her fast-paced attacks as a Wutai ninja should couple well with the updated gameplay in Final Fantasy VII Remake. The PlayStation 5 Enhanced edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake has two game modes that vary stability for extra visuals. The “Graphics Mode” gives the player 4K resolution but will perform at less than 60 fps. While the “Performance Mode” maintains the framerate at 60 by adjusting graphics to keep it stable. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be out June 10th only on the PlayStation 5. However, the PS5 Enhanced edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently available and is different from the free PlayStation Plus version for March. The various versions of the title are puzzling, and hopefully, The Load Screen team has cleared up some of the confusion around this masterpiece.
