Thanks to a partnership with EA, Microsoft will include EA Play as another benefit for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate holders as of November 10th. EA Play normally costs $4.99 a month or $24.99 for the year. The service gives you access to 76 additional games that contains many of EA’s most popular game series. It does not cover the newest EA titles; however, you will get 10% off all EA titles and you can play select games for up to 10 hours on their release.

EA Play gives access to many of their titles that have been out for at least 6 months. It offers solo titles like Alice: Madness Returns, Fe, and more. Enjoy many classic Battlefield games like Bad Company 1 & 2, all the way up to V. Both Crysis and Dead Space trilogies are included as well as the entire Dragon Age and Mass Effect lines. Sports enthusiasts will also get love with several editions of FIFA, Madden NFL, Need for Speed, UFC, and individual sports titles like Skate 3. EA Play even has something for those puzzle games lovers: Bejeweled, Peggle, and Plants vs. Zombies series.

A selection of EA’s backlog is included in this service and you can see the full list of added games on Microsoft’s Xbox EA Play website. It really makes it worth $14.99 per month for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when you add the EA Play games to the 100 titles currently available. If you have not played all the way through some of those classic storylines now is your chance. Microsoft is revolutionizing the subscription-based game service. I cannot wait to see what other goodies Microsoft has in store for Xbox Game Pass in the future.
